Recorded by the Alpha Boys School Band at the famed Studio One and under the direction of the late Sir Coxsone Dodd and Alpha graduates Johnny “Dizzy” Moore (founding member of the Skatalites) and Alpha Bandmaster, Winston “Sparrow” Martin (The Jamaican All-Stars), “Come Dance With Me” offers a diverse collection of latin, ska, rocksteady, soca, jazz and roots reggae.  Past Alpha boys who sit in on the sessions include Tony Green and Winston “Bo Pee” Bowen.  The late Sister Mary Ignatius Davies, RSM, recognized by many as The Godmother of Reggae Music, provides personal introductions on many of the tracks.

This fascinating insight into the incredible work of this internationally renowned school celebrates the esteemed establishment and the talents of 25 of its former students, many of who studied under the spiritual guidance of Sister Ignatius, who from 1939 to 2003 acted as the school's figurehead. Featured are such Jazz legends as Joe Harriott and Dizzy Reece, along with many of those who during the sixties and seventies were instrumental in shaping the sound of Ska and Reggae.
