Download. The 45 Shootout 2.9 features music and mixes from ZJ Elektra, Konshens, Glen Washington and more

Vol.2, Issue 9 (click here to preview + download)
Original reggae music and mixes from the people who make it.

This month The Shootout is all over the map. First, we start with the Endless Summer, a compilation of 3 mixes contributed by ZJ Elektra (Jamaica), Tasha Rozez (Toronto) and The Large (London) in which they spin up their top 15 tunes from summer. The Endless Summer mixes are available for download separately or all as one. Mighty Crown, dancehall’s pride and joy from Japan, allegedly ‘retired’ from clashing earlier this year but that doesn’t mean they’re out of the game and their Konshens Mix is proof Tha Far East Rulaz aren’t ready to give up the throne. And a leader in the underground Spanish-speaking urban music scene, Alika’s flow and swagger is understandable no matter what language you speak. Finally, Glen Washington lends not just his voice but his soul to a masterpiece of music and message with “Fall On Me“.
